The advertised cold spell is here and doesn’t look to leave all that soon. That’s fine given the time of year. I think it helps get everyone into the holiday mood.
Plus it’s good for the economy. What? That’s right. Cool weather (especially early) makes people want to buy warmer coats. If this cool spell didn’t occur until after the holidays, most of the stores – tired of their coats not selling will have already discounted them or sent them to surplus. Plus Once the calendar turns, the department stores are already thinking about spring and putting out warmer weather clothes. So if you didn’t go buy a coat until later, you would spend less. So the early cool is helping the economy too!
