We’re all going to be waking up with Craig Allen for a while longer – and that’s a good thing.
No, get your mind out of the gutter.
Allen, chief meteorologist for CBS‘ NewsRadio 880 and one of the first voices many area residents hear each morning, has signed a new three-year deal to remain with the station.
The new contract will keep him at the station into a third decade, a huge feat for anyone in the broadcasting business.
More important, the new deal also lets Allen, one of the most dedicated – and correct – weathercasters around, continue doing TV work.
