The NWS Mt Holly NJ will hold a SKYWARN Spotter Training Class at the Cherryville Hamfest, on Saturday morning, March 19 2011, starting at 9:30 AM. Cherryville Hamfest is at the N. Hunterdon Reg. High School, 1445 Rt. 31 South, Annandale, NJ (NOTE: There is no charge for the SkyWarn Training, however there is an admission fee for entering the Hamfest.)

Registration is via Email to: Roberto Matos at: matos99@comcast.net

More info is also here: http://www.erh.noaa.gov/er/phi/skywarn/training.html#sched

Please note, you do not have to attend a SKYWARN Spotter Class only within your county of residence. Also remember, that both the NWS Mt Holly and the NWS New York/Upton require all of their SKYWARN Spotters to retrain at least once every 3 years, in order to remain on the active list!

There will only be a few other opportunities this year (2011) to attend a SKYWARN Training Classes in the NNJ Section, so please don’t miss out! Once these other Classes are set by the NWS, that info will be sent to you as well.
