…LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN IS LIKELY TOWARD MORNING…

AN AREA OF RAIN WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO FORM AND MOVE THROUGH THE REGION TOWARD MORNING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO AVERAGE HALF AN INCH TO AN INCH WITH THE LATTER MORE LIKELY IN ANY THUNDERSTORMS. THE HEAVIER SHOULD BE ONGOING DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE. THIS WILL CAUSE URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING AND FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS. THESE RAINFALL AMOUNTS MIGHT CAUSE ADDITIONAL RIVER FLOODING IN MORRIS COUNTY DURING THE DAY ON FRIDAY OR FRIDAY NIGHT. ELSEWHERE THEY WOULD CAUSE RISES IN STREAMS AND RIVERS, BUT THE WATERWAYS SHOULD REMAIN WITHIN BANKFUL.

THE HEAVY RAIN COINCIDING WITH THE MORNING COMMUTE WILL MAKE IT LONGER THAN AVERAGE. PLEASE GIVE YOURSELF EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.

PLEASE CHECK FOR POSSIBLE UPDATED STATEMENTS OR WARNINGS IF HEAVIER RAIN THAN EXPECTED MATERIALIZES.
