NYC/LI AMS Chapter Members and Weather Enthusiasts – Spring Meetings

Mark Kramer is a big supporter of NJWO so I wanted to post and share this and encourage folks to head on over to the other side of the river for these meetings.

Topic:         Extending Forecast Skill for Winter Storms: Challenges Associated with Improving the Prediction of Major Snow Events and Public/User Response to These Forecasts

Northeast Snowstorms, By Paul J. Kocin and Louis Uccellini will be available for sale and author signing at the May Mtg.  If you want to purchase the book and cannot make the May meeting, advise us by e-mail and pick it up at the April 12th meeting.
