Somerset — 10 PM

22.5″ is the final total in Hillsborough. Took a core for the SWE value of 2.30″.

Top snowfall in my 27 years in Hillsborough. 22.0″ in the January 1996 storm had been the top one. 13th 10″ plus storm during this time period.

Snow has ended in Somerset with the final accumulation estimate of 25″. Have drifts of 4-5′ in vicinity. Temperature at 24 with diminishing winds. Nearby Somerville’s average snowfall for entire year is 29.8″ — we got 83% of it in one day… Jeff

Somerset — 7 PM — 24″ — moderate snow, but even more difficult to measure with so much snow on the ground and the continued blowing and drifting. Temperature down to 23, but pressure now on the rise at 29.78″…. Jeff

Somerset — 4 PM — 20″ still with heavy and blowing snow. Temperature has dropped to 24; pressure has generally stayed steady over the past few hours between 29.65″ and 29.70″. Very briefly had some snow pellets that you could hear on windows….. Jeff
